New and new-look resorts:South Bank officially opened its doors on Nov. 1. This waterfront resort blends indoor and outdoor living spaces with innovative amenities, including a unique swimming lagoon and a luxurious spa and fitness center. The Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, Lua, helmed by executive chef Neerul Tomar, debuted in December.
The Strand, which opened on Nov. 23, is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and boasts an oceanfront location on Cooper Jack Bay in Providenciales. It features suites and multibedroom villas as well as private residences. The Strand generates more than 75% of its power through solar energy. The Delmar, its signature restaurant, serves fresh seafood, steaks and globally inspired dishes. The Strand is celebrating its opening with a promotion offering 20% off stays of up to four nights.
The all-inclusive Alexandra Resort on Grace Bay Beach has reopened following extensive renovations. Updates include 41 Oceanfront and Garden Suites and Studios, a redesigned lagoon-style pool and a refreshed lobby and reception area.
