She was named to Editor & Publisher's Top 25 Under 35 list in 2013, which honors the most promising young journalists.
Brinley Hineman is the senior editor of tours and river cruises for Travel Weekly. She previously worked for the USA TODAY Network, Newsday, The Messenger and Firecrown. She has won awards for her breaking news and enterprise reporting, including for her coverage on women's health, crime and education.
She is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and is from West Virginia. She now lives in Brooklyn.
