Grace Bay Resorts has announced a Nov. 1 opening date for its newest Turks & Caicos resort, South Bank.

The 31-acre Providenciales resort will be situated along Long Bay Beach, comprising a mix of 92 one- to six-bedroom accommodations. Accommodations will be spread across four distinct "neighborhoods:" the Ocean Estate Villas, Lagoon Villas, The Boathouses and Arc. (As part of the property's phased opening plan, the Arc neighborhood is on track for completion in 2026.)

The property's centerpiece will be its 5-acre, man-made "ocean swimming lagoon," which Grace Bay Resorts said is designed to provide "guests with a protected area for swimming and playing." The lagoon, which will be 4.5-feet deep, will be surrounded by white sand and feature two islands.

Other amenities are a beach firepit lounge, fitness facilities, a tennis court, a pickleball court and a spa with four waterfront treatment rooms.

The property will also be home to Lua, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, and the Nuttin Bar, which will be on one of the lagoon islands.

Rates at South Bank start at $888 per night.

The property will be the fifth luxury Turks & Caicos resort in the Grace Bay Resorts portfolio. It will be a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
