The CEO of Contiki, a tour operator specializing in trips for 18- to 35-year-olds, has stepped down from the role.
Adam Armstrong, who led Contiki since June 2020, said in a statement that he was exiting the company for "pastures new." Melissa DaSilva, the interim CEO of TTC Tour Brands, will oversee Contiki.

TTC Tour Brands, Contiki's parent company, said it was evaluating its portfolio to increase efficiency across brands. Private equity firm Apollo Funds acquired The Travel Corporation last year, ending the organization's run as a privately held company.

Armstrong previously told Travel Weekly he had been tasked with growing the brand and attracting more U.S. clients, an audience that was on the decline before the pandemic. TTC said in a statement that Armstrong's leadership was "instrumental" in the brand's direction and post-pandemic recovery.
Contiki offers more than 200 trips around the globe, including spring break vacations and itineraries curated for only 27- to 35-year-olds. Armstrong praised the brand's "rock stars" who make the trips possible.
