As multiple wildfires continue to threaten Los Angeles communities, hotels in Southern California and beyond are stepping up to provide shelter and support for displaced residents, with many offering significant discounts and waiving pet fees for evacuees.

The Hotel Association of Los Angeles (HALA) is sharing a regularly updated list of properties that have availability and are offering discounts and other support to displaced Angelenos. The list includes booking instructions, with some properties offering dedicated phone lines or booking codes for evacuees.

"Hotels are currently taking in thousands of Angelenos who have been displaced by the Palisades, Eaton and Hurst fires," said HALA in a statement. "We stand ready to continue assisting Angelenos and first responders during this crisis."

Participating hotels extend beyond greater Los Angeles into San Diego, Palm Springs and Santa Barbara, among others. Some Las Vegas resorts have also joined the relief effort.

On Instagram, the Fontainebleau Las Vegas said it's offering special rates for evacuees, while Treasure Island Hotel & Casino announced on Facebook that $79 rooms are being offered through Jan. 31. Both offers are subject to availability.

Airbnb is continuing to work with nonprofit 211LA to provide no-cost accommodations for people who have been displaced by the wildfires.
