The U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation has unanimously endorsed former congressman and Fox Business commentator Sean Duffy to be the Trump administration's Transportation Department secretary.

The 28-0 vote on Jan. 22 means that Duffy will go before the full U.S. Senate for formal confirmation, where approval is likely.
Duffy, a Wisconsin Republican, served in the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019. He is currently the host of "The Bottom Line" on Fox Business.
