The newly refreshed Norwegian Joy now has the largest thermal suite in the Breakaway-Plus class following a three-week dry dock in Rotterdam, Netherlands, according to Norwegian Cruise Line.
The ship emerged from the drydock on Feb. 11 before embarking on an 11-day transatlantic sailing to Miami from Southampton, England. The ship is now sailing seven-day roundtrip Caribbean cruises from Miami before repositioning to New York for the summer to sail Bermuda cruises.

The refreshed thermal suite in the Mandara Spa and Salon includes new four-senses loungers, a sauna, an ice room and a steam room.
The drydock projects for the 3,852-passenger ship also included the expansion of two premier owner's suites in The Haven to three bedrooms. The suites include three-and-a-half bathrooms, a renovated living room, a master bedroom and outdoor balcony furniture. The suites also include a new separate dining room that overlooks the forward-facing Horizon Lounge in The Haven.
Other changes on the 7-year-old ship included the expansion of the adults-only Vibe Beach Club to make the layout similar to that on the Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Bliss with new private luxury cabanas. The refurbishment also added two dozen balcony staterooms, made possible by building into some of the ship's observation lounge.
