Park City and Canyons officially combined under one new brand on July 29 under the name Park City. Using the tag line, “There is only one. Park City,” the new resort is now the largest ski resort in the U.S. with more than 7,300 acres of skiable terrain and 300 trails.
The linking of Park City and Canyons is part of a $50 million capital improvement project that will transform the two resorts into one and complete a number of major upgrades to the infrastructure.
The new eight-passenger, high-speed, two-way gondola, which will transport guests from the base of the existing Silverlode Lift at Park City to the Flatiron Lift at Canyons, will be named Quicksilver.
The new restaurant, located at the base of the Silverlode Lift, will be called Miners Camp and will accommodate 500 indoor seats.
