Onguma Private Game Reserve, bordering Etosha National Park in Namibia, has introduced a So-Low Safari package, waiving the single supplement during the low season (Dec. 1 to June 30, excluding Christmas and Easter). This offer aims to make Onguma more accessible to independent travelers.

The low season offers several advantages to travelers, among them smaller crowds, favorable weather and excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities, particularly around waterholes.

Namibia is considered a safe destination for solo travelers, with good roads for self-drive adventures and English widely spoken.

Travelers can choose from five Onguma camps, all with views of floodlit waterholes. Guided game drives, both day and night, are available within the 84,000-acre private reserve, offering sightings of four of the Big Five (no Cape buffaloes). Daytrips to Etosha National Park can also be arranged. Dining options range from private in-suite dining to communal meals. Some camps also feature private hot tubs or plunge pools.

The So-Low Safari offer applies to stays of two nights or more at the Onguma Bush Camp, Onguma Forest Camp, Onguma Tented Camp, Onguma The Fort and Onguma Camp Kala.
