The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is pouring $300 million into an extensive revamp of all 4,212 rooms and suites in its main tower.
The tower's first wave of renovated rooms are set to come online on March 1, with the entire project slated to be complete by December.
The disco-era-inspired redesign will include numerous updates, with King Rooms set to feature walnut wood finishes and warm gray textured wall coverings and Queen Rooms slated to incorporate lighter gray stone finishes and tailored headboards.
All rooms will receive refreshed bathrooms with walk-in showers, as well as updated tech, including wall-mounted Smart TVs and bedside USB and USB-C charging capabilities.
Additionally, the MGM Grand plans to add 111 suites to its accommodation mix, bringing the main tower's total number of suites to 753. These new suite offerings will range in size from 675 to 2,572 square feet and feature dark ebony and walnut wood finishes.
The property will also add two new food and beverage venues, including Netflix Bites, a dining venue featuring cuisine inspired by Netflix shows. Netflix Bites, which is on track to open early this year, will be joined by Palm Tree Beach Club, a tropical-inspired day club concept, this summer.
The main tower's revamp follows the 2022 remodel of the MGM Grand's 700-room Studio Tower.
